My Happy Place – Terms & Conditions
By attending a session at My Happy Place, I confirm that I have read and understood the following information and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Responsibility & Supervision
I take full responsibility for myself and my child during each session, including anything that may occur in connection with participating in the class.
All play and sensory items provided, used during sessions, or gifted to take home must be used under adult supervision at all times. Some items may contain small parts or present a choking hazard. By accepting these Terms & Conditions, I understand and accept full responsibility for ensuring that all items are used safely and appropriately with babies and young children.
My Happy Place accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising during or after participation in sessions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Health & Wellbeing
If I have any medical or developmental concerns about myself or my child, I will seek advice from a qualified medical professional before taking part. I will also keep the instructor informed of any relevant health issues or changes that may arise during the course of the sessions.
Please do not attend a session if you or your baby are unwell, including if you have a fever, upset stomach, diarrhoea, measles, chickenpox, whooping cough, impetigo, scarlet fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, conjunctivitis, or any other potentially contagious illness.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We completely understand that life with babies and toddlers can be unpredictable and that sometimes plans need to change.
If you need to cancel or move your booking, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
With 48 hours’ notice or more:
We’re happy to transfer your booking to another available session, subject to availability.
With less than 48 hours’ notice:
Unfortunately, we’re unable to transfer or reschedule your booking and the session will be lost. This also applies if you are unable to attend due to illness or personal circumstances.
Our sessions have limited spaces, and at short notice it can be difficult for us to offer your place to another family.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to gift your booked session to a friend or family member who has a baby within the appropriate age range for the class. Please let us know in advance where possible.
Refunds & Missed Sessions
As a small business, My Happy Place is unable to offer refunds for bookings, missed sessions, holidays, illness or personal absence.
Our booking provider charges fees on every transaction, and these fees are not recoverable when a booking is cancelled.
Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice cannot be transferred or rescheduled and will be lost.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking with more than 48 hours’ notice, please contact us via email and we will be happy to help arrange a transfer, subject to availability.
Cancellation by My Happy Place
My Happy Place will always do its best to run sessions as scheduled. Occasionally, circumstances outside our control may mean that a session needs to be cancelled or rearranged.
If My Happy Place cancels a session, parents/carers will be notified by email or phone and an alternative session will be offered.
Agreement
By booking or attending a My Happy Place session, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
